The odds are that if Donald Trump and Devin Nunes get the names of any FBI informants, then it is just a matter of time until the Russians have the names. Both are suspected Russian agents.

However, the trump is thinking about himself and how best to defend himself against possible criminal charges. He needs to know what information the investigators have gathered on him. This is obstruction of justice in broad daylight.

If he does not get what he wants, he will use it as an excuse to get rid of Rod Rosenstein. It would be a huge mistake for the FBI or the Deputy Attorney General to give up any information about this investigation. I'm sure the Russians are watching very closely.

1. He's hoping the Congress will let him get away with it

We have to hope that when confronted with the hundreds of counts of wrongdoing that enough repukes will decide to be statesmen and remove this plague.

I hope Mueller drops at least 50 counts of indictments on trump and dozens on his administration, including his family as well as several sitting congress critters.

We are coming to the point soon where Congress will be at a crossroads.

He is out there all by himself. I think the Democrats could be a little more aggressive. They could demand that Rosenstein not give any information to the group of sycophants that the trump has gathered at the White House, unless a similar number of Democrats are present. They could stand in the doorway with the cameras rolling...

When those trying times in our
democratic journey are behind us,
and we get rid of the treasonous bunch
We should enact laws that prevent the corruption and abuse of power as well as obstruction of justice from ever happening again. Democracy should have teeth to protect itself. Forget norms, laws should be enacted.
