...don't ignore these false patriots running the teams, though, and their Trump-worshiping fascism.

They need a more substantive response than indifference to the game.

I already don't patronize them in any way, so I can't boycott.

I'd support the players doing whatever was necessary. Have the final two teams go on strike one hour before the SuperBowl and lose everyone a lot of money is the kind of thing that would probably need to happen.

From Sports illustrated

"The NFL addressed the anthem issue at its meetings in October and March, with plans to further discuss it at this meeting. The league also met with the Players Coalition in October, and agreed to a seven-year, $89 million social-justice partnership.

According to sources, the owners also discussed how to move forward its partnership with the players and finalized the terms of the deal."

I suppose if the players wanted to negate the $89 million deal they could strike over this , but pretty sure that won't happen

But I’m not boycotting anything. Sundays are my day to unplug, and football in autumn is a part of that.

I'll find another outlet.

I understand why people may look elsewhere on Sunday Funday for activities And, I’m not surprised by what Klemko is reporting and fully encourage their efforts to subvert, bend or break the rule.

The owners have shit the bed on this one...

The NFL gave in to thuggery. They won't count me as one of their viewers.
