They're actually showing some skepticism, noting that Trump doesn't have any proof for his allegations and showing him dodge the question at the gaggle today.
I hope this signals the beginning of a trend.

(25,111 posts)t-rump I guess is quiet too. Kelly has been compromised. Sarah HS is a lying individual, and fake news is attacking Asians. Meghan McCain could have gotten a secret oops I'm sorry, and the WH "ground" have a sink hole that leads to hell.

(82,849 posts)Is this wasn't a commentator's personal program; this was NBC Nightly News, echoed in most particulars by the local affiliate station.
But I see the New York Times has decided to call Trump's "Spygate" "scandal" an "unconfirmed claim." Gray Lady? Paper of Record? Oracle of Oracles? It's not an "unconfirmed claim"; it's a lie. A lie. A LIE. Just say it. Say it and you'll feel better.

(82,849 posts)But for now, I like the change in the tone of reporting, hope it becomes a trend, and results (very soon) in calling a lie a lie instead of that "unconfirmed claim" bullshit the NYT is peddling this morning.
