Trump signs bill easing U.S. bank rules into law
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-dodd-frank/trump-signs-bill-easing-u-s-bank-rules-into-law-idUSKCN1IP2WX
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump signed into law on Thursday a bill that would ease rules on most banks for the first time since the 2007-2009 financial crisis.
The legislation eases oversight of all banks below $250 billion in assets, and exempts small community banks from a host of stricter rules and oversight established by the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial reform law.
The legislation Im signing today rolls back the crippling Dodd-Frank regulations that are crushing small banks, Trump said at the bill signing.
While the new law lessens rules on a large number of U.S. banks, it stops short of eliminating much of Dodd-Frank. Most of that laws core provisions remain intact, and the new laws language is primarily aimed at helping smaller community banks, while preserving stricter rules for the biggest banks on Wall Street.

...it was easy to see what eight years of the presidency did to him, starting with grey hair. but since leaving office he looks a lot healthier and much happier. Of course, he had a healthy lifestyle to begin with. The only reason I can see for Trump not looking worse is that he's barely doing the job. Getting up late, taking multiple "executive time" time-outs, maybe one meeting per day on average, golf every weekend...his sedentary lifestyle and anger and lack of any discretion when it comes to his diet is what's taking the toll here, not the rigors of his position.
