His facts are completely wrong. The Democratic Party was not in "absolute power" during the election. No party is ever in "absolute power" even when they control majorities in the legislative and executive branches. The Democrats had the presidency while the Republicans held both houses of Congress so on its face, the claim is false. Also, the idea that the Democrats put spies into the Trump campaign is ridiculous and likely projection. Law Enforcement was already monitoring Russian activity and Trump's people were there trying to make deals with those Russians. Trump knows he is guilty so he has to deflect and project.

Trump lives in absolutes. He taps into the binary thinking that is prevalent in the conservative mindset.

A relative of mine posted sarcastically regarding Rachel Dolezal that "welfare fraud doesn't happen, it's a myth" because to a conservative it has to be happening or not happening at all. There is no nuance.

He is a demagogue and his followers eat it up.
