It's the people IN the government who refuse to do their constitutional duties due to corruption.

The problem right now is two branches are kissing the ass of the third one.

1. The Republican-controlled Congress isn't fulfilling its responsibilities -- this is huge because they're 1/3 of our checks and balances. And some of the press is just a propaganda arm. I think the Democrats in Congress could be quite a bit louder too.

2. The Founders operated on 18th Century time. We operate in a much faster -- MUCH FASTER -- an much more complex environment, so the harm can be spread exponentially.

3. ..... ?? I think there's a 3rd thing I have been contemplating but I'm not remembering it at the moment.

Conservatives have done a good job since Nixon at packing the Courts with reactionaries. They are focused on that, we are not.

or too stupid or aren't paying attention.

Trump's approval ratings would be in the teens if we had an intelligent, well educated and well informed electorate and if his approval ratings were sinking the Republicans in Congress would be lining up against him.

Vote him out and use the justice system to go after him and everyone helping him. I think that’s not only fair but the right way to do it.

Now if the Republicans still have the majority after the midterm elections we’ll have something to really worry about.

I know it seems too slow, but we would have to be as crooked as he is to do otherwise.

We let Congress neuter itself, stack the courts with Big Money's agents, and simply refuse to do its job when it pleases them. We let them rubber-stamp the wish lists of this president's handlers. We let them pimp themselves out to the highest bidders, whom they repay with tax cuts and deregulation.
