Is Rudy Guiliani breaking the law??

He is Donald Trump's TV lawyer.

He spreads lies and conspiracy theories over the TV as part of his job to defend Donald J Trump.

But, some might say, he is interfering in a legal investigation. He discredits the investigators and says the investigation itself may not be legitimate? There is no argument but that we all have free speech, including Mr Guiliani.

But, is this free speech or is it obstruction of justice? Should it be illegal to discredit an FBI and Justice Department investigation that was begun to determine the extent of Russian involvement in our elections and in our national security? We know some of those involved with Donald Trump are criminals. We don't know if Guiliani is a part of that group?

But, to some, it seems like obstruction of justice. Mr Guiliani is doing the dirty work for Donald Trump. He has become part of the obstruction and cover-up.

even if it involves lying.

it becomes obstruction when you threaten to start a counter-investigation into the prosecutors or witnesses or investigators.

it becomes obstruction when you threaten to fire prosecutors or investigators.

My dog is more of a lawyer than that ass. His job as a "TV Lawyer" doesn't count as anything but chief obstructionist and propaganda peddler. His duties are to delay, distract, demean and deceive.

8. In his interview with Hannity on May 2, RG violated NY State attorney rules requiring competence.

Giuliani's television debut as Trump's attorney was the May 2 interview with Hannity. In that interview, Giuliani shockingly volunteered the comment that Trump had repaid Cohen the $130,000 in hush money which Cohen had paid to Stormy Daniels. Hannity's line of questioning did not elicit that revelation by Giuliani who blabbed it out nonetheless while seemingly enjoying his reemergence in the media spotlight. Since that shameful debut, Giuliani has given other televised interviews in which he further reveals that he does not have an adequate understanding of the law or a grasp of the facts to competently represent Trump.

It is no wonder that the law firm which Giuliani had been associated with dismissed him within a few weeks following May 2.

It can be argued that the incompetence displayed by Giuliani since May 2 is disbarment-worthy under the rules of professional conduct which govern attorneys.

From http://www.nysba.org/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=50671

The New York Rules of Professional Conduct

. . .

RULE 1.1:

COMPETENCE

(a) A lawyer should provide competent representation to a client. Competent
representation requires the legal knowledge, skill, thoroughness and preparation
reasonably necessary for the representation.

(b) A lawyer shall not handle a legal matter that the lawyer knows or should
know that the lawyer is not competent to handle, without associating with
a lawyer who is competent to handle it.

(c) A lawyer shall not intentionally:

(1) fail to seek the objectives of the client through reasonably available
means permitted by law and these Rules; or

(2) prejudice or damage the client during the course of the representation
except as permitted or required by these Rules.

Does a bear shit in the woods?

He's a thug, just like his father and uncle before him. As with everything else in his long career, we'll eventually learn that he had his dirty fingers in a lot more than we know about now. We may not know if Giulliani was involved with the Trump criminals, but we do know that he was highly involved with the corrupt individuals in the FBI's NYC field office who sat on Anthony Weiner's laptop for weeks, only to notify Comey about it just days before the election. Quite frankly, I'd be surprised if he isn't involved somehow with Trump's crime syndicate, as well. Remember that this sack of shit was in the process of being exposed for the crook he is, until 9/11 happened, making him "America's mayor" (PUKE.)
