Our band also had a tuba player who was the state champion accordionist (Mike Middleton). He really hammed it up playing "Saber Dance" with the band accompanying him. Mike is a radiologist now, but he plays a lot of the German festivals in central Texas with his two sons who also play tuba. They are billed as Mike & The Middletones.

I'm guessing that Obama might have thought such equipment would have come in handy when dealing with Congress and birthers, etc. . . .

(32,078 posts)I have been wanting to see Carlsbad Caverns since I was a kid. I was near it several times, but just never got there.
I hope the Obamas are enjoying New Mexico. It's a beautiful state. I'd move there in a heartbeat if given the chance.
