Trump Supporters I Know?

Last edited Sun May 27, 2018, 02:04 PM - Edit history (1)

Every single one of them has no interest in understanding the truth..It's just so much easier that way..The Truth is so much more complicated than the lies...Most Trump supporters are watching their lives pass by and really are living miserable lives.. Their wages suck, they are hardly involved in any of the new tech jobs. They are getting old and now gas prices are gonna hit em hard ..

Their salvation? Donald Trump.. and Trump is telling them, the thing they should fear most is our Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.. and they're buying it.. Lock, Stock and... Ah fuck it!

But by far and away the thing that Trump Supporters find most attractive ? Is Trump's Racist attacks.! Without their hate to keep them occupied, Trump Supporter's have little going for them.. And Now that the NFL is in trouble.. What the hell are they gonna do on Sundays?

My father and sisters are still rabidly defending him, and throwing away any republicans who dare to question trump. I gave up hope of them ever changing.

is quite 'knowledgeable', Wapo delivered to his door and he reads it. Claims to 'not like trump' but likes 'the difference he makes.' [Morbid twist on kids, etc., receiving an award for 'making (a positive) difference but that's another story]. Extremely personable guy who says to hello to almost everyone at the big gym we frequent.

The answer to why he is a trumper, lies in what he suspiciously denies, imnho. He aggressively denies he, or most republicans, are racist. I suggested to him the solid democratic south became solidly republican, a truly massive massive movement, in the 60's because of 'race.' This trumper aggressively denied that this historic shift had anything to do with race. I pointed out the dixiecrats starting in '48, brown v board of education, goldwater campaign stump speech about taking 'the government back from the naacp', nixon's 'southern strategy', G Wallace's 'nigra' popularity, etc. Trumper's response was NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! The shift to the republicans was for a lot of overdue things, too big government, states rights [aha], etc.

And so it goes . . .

Just make the non-accusatory observation that for as unracist asTrump is, he certainly attracts a LOT of support from racists.

It's easy to be a blind follower. If they doubt any of the nonsense he says, then that would require them to dust off their rusted critical thinking skills and then admit he's a fraud and they were duped. They won't ever do that unless Trump is hit with some monumental charge like treason that will allow them to save face.

came along. White Evangelicals, gun humpers and the like. I think those people would vote for Satan if he was the Republican nominee.

Some are actually educated yet Rush appeals to the small lizard cell in their brain that goes ballistic if it thinks anyone is just as good or better than they are.
The one common trait they all share is a deep fear and distrust of what they know not of.
