Saturday, King slammed New York Jets co-owner and chairman Christopher Johnson who announced on Wednesday that he would pay fines for any of the players who wanted to kneel during the National Anthem. The Republican representative said it was time to say goodbye to the Jets for their decision.
Disgraceful that @nyjets owner will pay fines for players who kneel for National Anthem. Encouraging a movement premised on lies vs. police. Would he support all player protests? Would he pay fines of players giving Nazi salutes or spew racism? Its time to say goodbye to Jets! King tweeted.
The NFL announced Wednesday that players will be required to stand and show respect for the national anthem. Team players have the option of remaining in the locker room if they do not want to stand for the anthem, but teams will be fined if anyone takes a knee on the field.

No, you fucking asshole. You know what else is like Nazi Germany? The fact that we have fucking Nazis marching on American soil - and they all voted for Trump!

(82,383 posts)We can understand that. It could be tough (suppose they did it out of pro-life sentiment) but we'd have to accept that.
The right often boasts that they don't protest (saying the people there have time because they don't have jobs) and deriding people for protesting in general - I ask do they say the same about the annual right to life march every Jan. 26 in D.C. Right wingers tend toward hypocrisy. But usually we don't see DUers complaining on the day of that march that it shouldn't take place.

People kneel in churches. Theyve knelt to kings and queens.
