Trump's America in Ireland

My wife and I are returning home from a vacation in Ireland, England and Italy. We boarded our Aer Lingus flight at the Shannon airport. They have set up U.S. Customs and Border Patrol screening operation in Shannon which we were pleased to find out avoided having to clear customs at JFK. The agent who checked our passports had the standard USCBP uniform but a heavy Slavic accent. He hassled us about living in Washington state because neither of us was born there. He said he had a problem with Washington that he didn’t want to get into. My guess is he may have a problem with blue states. It was a ridiculous confrontation and totally inappropriate way to treat returning travelers. He was the only rude person we met in three weeks.

2. Many Poles have migrated to Ireland in recent decades, and the Polish government

has taken a decided right turn in the last year.
Dunno, but there could be a connection.

I would have given him a stink eye.
