BY LUIS SANCHEZ - 05/26/18 11:42 AM EDT

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said on Saturday that he doesn’t see a difference between an FBI informant and a spy in relation to recent revelations that the FBI used an informant to investigate the Trump presidential campaign ...

To kill him and the FBI informant/spy decides not to bother we’ll see if there’s a difference. These boneheads are always the first to cry, “Why didn’t law enforcement know these people were . . . Whatever?” They make me sick.

FBI informants ruined quite a few people's lives back then, sometimes just for shits and giggles. I'm going to guess that Sen. Cornyn really liked FBI informants then.

Is there a committee sitting somewhere that comes up with this crazy shit and some shmoe like Cornyn loses a bet, or a coin toss or something and has to go say it in public?

This isn't the worst - by a long shot - but it's not always the longest straw that breaks the camel's back. I'm nearing a breaking point with these (alleged) people.

Then, sensing a need to appease the right-wing of his Party, he said he really saw no difference in the two.

He was right the first time.
