I just watched the opening ceremony of the first game of the Stanley Cup in Las Vegas, and during the national anthem I saw more than one player doing warmups! And when the singer got to the line "proof through the night", he stopped at the word "night" so the crowd could yell the word "Knight!" And during the last couple of lines, fans were banging on the glass and shouting!

I expect at least half a dozen outraged tweets expressing shock and disgust at this blatant disrespect for the anthem/flag/troops etc. by 3am!

(But I won't hold my breath.)
