Roseanne adds her name to the list of actors who have willingly torched their career by refusing to shut their hate-filled pie hole, being toxic and damn-near unhireable in the future.
Don't misunderstand me - I do not think everyone should think like I think, and have no issue with right leaning celebrities (and no-celebrities)/entertainers, provided there can be a civil discourse during a political conversation.
By memory, this embarrassing fraternity includes:
Roseanne
Ted Nugent
Michael Richards
Scott Baio
Victoria Jackson
Hank Williams Jr.
Charlie Daniels
Dennis Miller
Mel Gibson
Curt Schilling
Stacey Dash
Steven Baldwin

(102,225 posts)after his racist episodes. Ditto Clint Eastwood, who I don't accuse of racism, but his RW wackiness certainly derailed him a bit. He does have significant talent as a director, though, so he's been able to weather the storm...

(2,201 posts)Roseanne definitely shot herself in the foot, but the rest of them? ....no, their (what I'll laughingly call post-"fame" careers) were over before they even started.
I mean, seriously...Scott Baio....yeah, I bet his political views cost him a lot of work. Hell, Ted Nugent is more 'famous' now than he was during that time he made that good song (Cat Scratch Fever).

(4,047 posts)I respectfully disagree.
People included in the list were very overt and assholish in their statements. Granted, some were not A-list celebs to begin with, but since their meltdowns have been pretty much relegated to the trash bin of Hollywood.
There are some left leaning celebs who have lost their A-list status, but are still remembered fondly and are well thought of to this day.
