(14,624 posts)Dumbass is desperate for any thing he can call a win. He will give in to Kim and claim that this was a huge win for US diplomacy. Everything that moron does hurts the US.

(5,101 posts)I thought the meeting was cancelled ?

(14,624 posts)Don't be surprised if it is cancelled again. Dotard and Pompeo have no idea what they are doing, and we don't have much of a State Department.
South Korea, Japan, China, and now Russia, are weighing in on the summit. You can be assured none of those countries are working on behalf of the US.
Dotard will screw this up, like he does everything else.

(12,640 posts)And that Drumpf is just salivating for chance at a Nobel Prize and "bragging rights.
Kim doesn't have to do a damn thing but show up, nod, and shake hands for the cameras. And he'll probably get sanctions lifted to boot.

(5,101 posts)If the Foundation wants to keep what's left of its Nobel Peace Prize credibility, they'd better look elsewhere.
I have a great deal of respect for the Nobel Foundation, but it must be said that the Nobel Peace Prize has not always been awarded with discernment...or more precisely, certain considerations taken into account were, to say the least, very complacent...
