[question everything]

Recently I've been overwhelmed by all the atrocious news. Not just from the White House, but floods, and killing, and airline passengers fighting. And all this just from 25 min, or so, of ABC News.

But We've watched one hour of "1968" on CNN the other night, and it was relentless. Today's news really paled in comparison.

1. Maybe that's why I'm less disturbed by the Trump mess

than folks younger than me. We can fix this problem, and starting a global trade war won't be popular with establishment Republicans.

2. It seems many fought it back then. Today, it seems there is an effort often, at least by MSM, to

normalize it. True, there is certainly not the open violence today. The good part, I think Trump is going down and a lot will go down with him.
