Who Wrote The Melania Tweet? And Why?

It seems to be general consensus that the First Lady did not write her latest tweet stating that all is well and she is at the WH working hard on children's issues. So, if she didn't write that tweet, who did? Why?

Today Thom Hartmann entertained a brief discussion on the topic and discussed several theories as to why Melania hasn't been seen in public for 20+ days. Hartmann went so far as to wonder out loud if something happened to the First Lady similar to what happened to Martha Mitchell during the Watergate investigation. He in no way stated that there was a conspiracy to silence Melania. He drew no conclusions. He only stated that if those in power wanted to shut a woman up who knew too much, they could...and they did exactly that to Martha Mitchell.

I confess I didn't know much about Martha Mitchell so I looked her up and read several articles. What happened to her was horrifying. There's a lot about Martha Mitchell online. Some of us have joked about the First Lady's absence of late, me included. However, it might be worth considering that there could be something else going on, especially when someone sent a tweet that clearly wasn't written by her. Melania isn't my favorite person for a millions reasons but we I think we can agree that she is married to a monster who is capable of terrible words and actions. It's possible that Melania is diligently working away in her offices in the WH. Maybe she's truly ill and is trying to protect her privacy. Maybe she's had it with her lying, cheating husband and has gone back to NYC or to live with her parents. Regardless, this is very unusual for a First Lady. As a woman and a mother myself, I'm just wondering out loud.

We don't know what they know until they print it, or pontificate on tv, but we do know that journalists from the Washington Post, New York Times, MSNBC, and CNN have all been hard at work ferreting out the corruption and pulling the threads to get to important stories. Rachel Maddow has commented that all the best work of bringing the story into daylight for the public to look at is being done by journalists. She feels it is the best of the First Amendment.

In all this mess many DUers have been speculating that Melania's disappearance has solely to do with vanity (nips and tucks) and they feel we all have a right to know the details. Has anyone checked the National Enquirer?

Personally, the longer this goes on the more I think of Martha Mitchell, and it's not a happy thought.

I'm not a Melania fan on any level either. She's a racist/birther and a taker who doesn't seem to be concerned for anyone but herself and perhaps her child (I hope). However, I am curious. Especially after the Martha Mitchell reference. If tRump cohort did something to her, I want him/them held accountable. If she's off having her rack re-adjusted, whatever. I find it odd that the WH felt the need to assure the American public that she's fine with a lying tweet. Someone said up-thread that we can't trust anything the WH says, ever.
