Two coworkers and I were just talking the other day about how if you get three women together, you can count on some good bangs-cutting stories.

3. I went to a hair salon-

to get my hair trimmed, and before I knew it, the hairdresser had (for evil reasons, I'm sure) quickly cut my bangs into a point-- / -- with the point right over my nose, and the sides very short. It was kind of like Mr. Spock's haircut.

If that happened to Melania, well, I sympathize.
But I think she just cannot stand to be near her husband, and is doing this to embarrass him. Impossible task, of course, as he's utterly shameless.

6. I took out my electric shears set at #4 and ran over my whole head - just fine thanks.

Cost me $35 for the shears 20 years ago. Amortized over 6 cuts per year ~ 30 cents/cut. How much do you fine ladies/laddies pay?

Plus I don't have to wait, listen to drivel about children and husbands. I do need to do my own vacuuming but it's better than what the "salons" do.

11. I just pull out my paper scissors to trim my hair

Worked great when it was waist long and I could just brush it straight back, reach around, grab a hank and snip.

Now that age and illness have made it just below shoulder length I may get it styled a couple of times a year. But I'd rather spend that money on new paper scissors!

My wife cuts my hair. Shears and a little scissors around the ear. Of course now days there's not much left to cut. I've asked a number of times to return the favor, but she's never taken me up on it. Smart woman.

So she wasn't seen in the hospital, but it was announced where she was. She's probably resting after surgery, if I had to guess.

15. When I was 21 James Dean's old barber trimmed

my Edie Sedgewick cut into Mamie Eisenhower bangs. The bangs were so short they wouldn't even go down, they stuck out straight like the visor on a cap. Three days later I came down with pneumonia and was in bed for the rest of the month (thank god)! I have cut my own hair ever since.
