I never, in my 64 years, heard so much thunder -- many strikes very close. It was unbelievably violence. Nature raw, tooth and claw.

Stay safe, my friend.

Don't be like the bishop in Caddie Shack. Stay off the links.

My balcony flooded slightly; fortunately, all I had to do was clear the drain to the downspout. But now the electricity is out.

in central NC. Glad I got the mowing done yesterday. I've got a few hours of weed-whacking yet to do and a couple of bushels of tomatoes to get in the door. I might get it done before weather sets in. My yard is 2-1/2 acres so it takes some doing to get it all "done".

The humidity is gawdawful. I'm not the strapping young studlet I used to think I was so it will take all morning

Everybody stay safe, y'hear?
