Richard Gere's character in Pretty Woman=Mittens

Just saw Lawrence O's interview with a casualty of Bain Capital's anti-job creation strategy in the 1990s. His story reminded me of Gere's corporate raider portrayal, pre-magical transformation by Julia Roberts' character.

Surely the DNC can make some hay with this.

even i don't remember much about the Gere character other than him being her guy.

i think Romney himself just comes off as such a stereotypical wealthy phony jackass that just allowing people to see him is enough for people to see what he is.

6. I like that: 'anti-job creation strategy.' Fits with a video I saw here yesterday.

That mass unemployment was planned since the days of Reagan to put the working class in their place, so to speak.

One of the things I could not believe as reasonable in that movie was a guy going down on a prostitute a real dirty gambler.

Meg Whitman who, as you probably recall, tried to buy the governor's seat in Cali.

I just hope he goes out the same way. After spending a record chunk of his his own fortune.

12. IIRC in the film Gere did not buy up or close down the older guy's company

in the end Gere did the right thing.

Can't say the same about Romney.

You'll see I referred to the pre-transformation version of the character, i.e., before she had the magical impact on him to cause him to become a better person,
