Romney: ‘Very Wealthy Are Going To Do Just Fine’ Under Me Or Obama

In a CNN interview that aired Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Mitt Romney said he’s concerned about the middle class and poor, not the very wealthy.

“I know the very wealthy are going to do just fine – whoever’s elected,” he said. “The middle class – that’s the group of people I’m most concerned about, they need our help – and the poor – they need our help with good jobs.”

Worst. Candidate. Ever.

I mean, he's being called out for his plan that benefits the rich, and he admits it. Not only that, he admits that the wealthy are not going to suffer under Obama, crushing his own party's class warfare talking point and exposing Republicans as demagogues.

Nine takeaways on Romney’s tax plan: 3)...huge problem for the Romney campaign.

How The Obama Campaign Is Spinning A Boring Report Into Campaign Gold

President Obama on Friday:

And keep in mind -- just one last point I want to make -- we're saying nobody's income taxes go up on the first $250,000 of their income. So even somebody who makes more than $250,000 is still getting a tax break on their first $250.000... Even somebody who's worth $200 million -- on that first $250,000 they're still paying lower taxes.

The newly released tax calculator also shows this: http://www.barackobama.com/tax-calculator

Does Mitt really believe anyone is going to look at his plan and not see the extremely large tax cut for most wealthy snd the tax increases on 95 percent of Americans?

is that he is a very rich guy who doesn't really care about politics. Politics is just something to do with his time. I don't think he has any deeply held political beliefs, which is why he says something different every 10 minutes.

Since it can be almost empirically proven that his plan fucks the middle class in the ass and Obama's does not, that was the exact wrong thing to say.

"Strikes me as a comment strategized to enhance the split"

...would be a "strategery," and Romney would be as stupid as he appears these days.

I mean, his comment also draws attention to the middle class, which his plan decimates.

And again, the analysis is out there and the Obama campaign is exploiting it effectively.

This is a desperation comment by Mitt.
