5. It is always good not to jump to conclusions about any situation

where little is known about who is involved and what their motives might be. We don't even know yet who the shooter is, or whether there might be more than one, or what his/their intention was. I will not be at all surprised to learn that this is a hate crime. However, there is always the possibility that it's a single crazy person. So I'm satisfied to wait and see. If/when this does turn out to be a hate crime, however, I will be one of the first in line to lay it in the lap of Michele Bachmann and the other haters.

If he was black of hispanic, they'd say he was a gang member. But sounds like he's a white angry militia type, so they'll say he was deranged.. Just like those people arrested last year in the trailers who had the plots to kill people. From some of the witnesses who were at the scene initially, they said it was a "hate crime," and the word "militia type person" was used. But yeah.. deranged. But aren't ALL those people that believe Glenn Beck deranged?
