(115,606 posts)I was just watching CNN, Anderson Cooper was interviewing a member of the WI state assembly, Josh Zepnik, who represents the district where the shooting occurred. Considering the unfortunate political climate WI has found itself in, I assumed the guy was a GOPer and expected him to babble some inane platitudes, but to my surprise he was pretty eloquent about supporting the Sikh community and the need to embrace diversity and tolerance in general. I googled him - and guess what, he's a Democrat. I couldn't imagine any GOPer saying those things.
