I am concerned about this election at every level. It almost seems like the country is sinking deeper into dementia, delusion, paranoia, and hysteria as the election nears. The mood of the country is very ugly. Voting to return to ALL of the Bush policies that wrecked us in 2008 is very scary. Even though we know Romney is a dangerous boob he still has too much support. And the GOP seems to grow more extreme every day. Yet they do not seem to be paying the price they should.
We have had too many mass shootings in the last year. These stochastic terrorists in the GOP seem to be thriving.

(15,189 posts)Doubled edged sword. It brings people out to vote if it's close, but if they steal it, it's easier to pull it off. And if the polls had Obama ahead too far, people might get lax and think it's in the bag, so why go out and vote.
But yes the GOP are getting crazier every day, and it is scary.

(47,953 posts)They have retained what power they have by fear mongering and hate media. If they back off they will lose power and money. So they keep pushing that hate. The worse things get, the more they have to push hate to get people to ignore their policies and corruption.
