1. Wait, what? So if you have a GOD DAMNED REFRIGERATOR you aren't really poor?

Wow.

How many times can you say Fox News sucks, yet somehow they always top themselves?

2. A Refrigerator IS NOT a Luxury Item for a Developed Nation

Sure, for undeveloped, impoverished nations they are, but not in a developed nation. In fact, they are produced on a mass scale and are affordable.

Most local goverments require landlords to provide refrigerators as a basic appliance.

Every apartment I've lived in "had" one, but I damn sure never "had" one of my own. Come on Fox, even you know better than this

it almost sound as if they are resentful, and envious. Of course this sounds insane. What could be the reason for their animosity towards the poor, if not resentment, envy?

7. I still have a fridge

From 1992. We aren't using it right now, but it still works, and it's stored at my brothers house. I may need to break it out next month. So I've been living a life of luxury for 20 years now, and I never even knew it.

11. Their argument about cell phones proves how out of touch they really are

Nowadays, a cell phone is almost a necessity, and in some cases actually cheaper than having a landline phone. Heck, you can even get some smartphones for very cheap, with very low monthly rates without a contract.

9. Also, so many of them are fat, so they can't be poor

I actually had a co-worker say that to me once. I said it was because there were no real supermarkets in a lot of areas (like North Philly) and people shopped at corner bodegas or bought cheap, filling, but un-healthy high-calorie junk from fast food places. Which caused him to smirk and say "well, if they're well-fed, they're not poor."

Fortunately I didn't tell him what a smug shithead loser he was, because now we've both changed jobs, and he throws me freelance work all the time
