I just got home, and needed to vent, really needed to vent. Went 72 ours without a cigarette, so am about as cranky as the old days of PMS. Went to the Christian Liberals & Progressive People of Faith. Ran into a post that was removed from GD, hmmmm.
So went to GD, and saw threads related to LDS; Bachmann's relief no Americans were killed Sunday in Wisconsin, and the general loathing of anything Christian. Groan. Hmmm, is there a double standard here? Just curious.
The couple I went to take a phone number to, to maybe help get one of them with a steady income and the recipe for home made laundry soap. His dad was a Baptist preacher, and her's a Pentecostal. Said until CNN reported Sunday I had no idea the Southern Poverty Law Center had a HateMap, until it was reported the "suspect" had been included in their site. To which the female said "Oh you mean those Muslims that were killed Saturday- because the shooter resented 9/11?" Duh? I would guess that the religious channel they listen to has made their opinions known for the Fundies to follow and agree with and proclaim as their own. Now I have turned the other cheek, wait that comes from the Bible I can't use that in this thread can I? See, already I'm in trouble.
