. . . . opens the back of the black/blacked out windowed Escalade, and loads his own bags and mumbles something about having "some folks over?"
I'd say it was good camera work because his personal driver and body man were kept out of view.
Hey Mitt . . . . do you a Safeway Loyalty Card?
You fucking sham of a liar.

(3,825 posts)He replied "hardware stuff". I'm starting to suffer from brain-lag listening to his inanities. Another rich white guy whose father bought him his place in the world. November can't get here soon enough.

(12,761 posts)Bush Lite might've played rancher every now and then, but at least he looked like he'd worn denim before. Mitt looks mighty uncomfortable in them jeans.
Do I hear banjos?

It speaks volumes about just how fucking gullible the GOP's constituency is.

(12,693 posts)Don't. You're not. It doesn't matter where on the spectrum your politics lie, you are not a regular guy when you have reached the level of presidential candidate. You may have been a regular guy in the past, but you are not now.
Mitt makes it even worse because he doesn't have the advantage of a regular guy past to fall back on. It would be kind of entertaining to watch him go though the items in that bucket. Definitely sounds like the premise for an SNL skit.

The Pepsi was for Bob, the driver/door holder, the Coke was for Pierre his dessert chef, and the Perrier was for him.
Or close enough.

If Poppy can choke down pork rinds, regular guy Mitt can scarf some Velveeta and Miller High Life for our amusement.

(9,965 posts)"America's Oldest Summer Resort" is a very ritzy little enclave for the right sort of people. I live a couple towns away - watching the rich dicks pretending to be regular people is kind of painful.

(10,336 posts)exactly what he went in for, from his list, that he checked off as he went, just like he does at home. Hardware stuff my ass, he had no clue what was in that bucket, and I can only imagine if the cart he grabbed had a sticky wheel how he might have reacted, just by the stuff way he handled it. Someone else said it best, pathetic.

Maybe his dog ate his other wallet?
Maybe his butler quit?
Let's give him credit for being willing to do the stunt or ad or whatever it was.
I don't suppose he'll ever actually become a regular guy?
