By the same stretch of the imagination that allows us to designate the Atlantic Ocean a desert, perhaps...

That being said, I like Paul's intellectual honesty. I dislike his ideology and... wel, everything else about him. But I like the intellectual honesty - which is why Santorum must be disgusted: he doesn't have any honesty, or intellect, to speak of.

He speaks from a philosophical point of view, radically so.

As soon as that point of view has to be translated into practical policies, it is shown to be detached from reality. But as Paul never, ever, approaches things pragmatically, his platform is - from a philosophical point of view - intellectually honest.

As I said, I dislike everything else about him.
