Does anyone remember in 2010 when the Texas Curriculum was being changed?

This is serious because as a friend of mine who has lived in Texas for years stressed to me while all this was going on is that School Texts books are written to Texas STANDARDS. So this stuff will be taught in schools across America. We are going to see future generations learning this stuff and believing this stuff.
We need to get really nervous about this stuff and try and fix it.
