Alonzo Mourning To Hold Obama Fundraiser
It's been a while since Alonzo Mourning has been on the court, but he apparently is back in the game for President Obama.
As part of an election fundraiser, the Obama campaign on Tuesday announced an upcoming fundraiser featuring several prominent current and former players, including Mourning, now a Miami Heat executive.
"Imagine shooting hoops with Carmelo Anthony, Patrick Ewing, Sheryl Swoopes, Kyrie Irving, and Alonzo Mourning. Oh, and President Obama and Michael Jordan will be there, too," the email from the Obama campaign read.
It continued, "Pitch in $3 or whatever you can, and you'll be automatically entered for a chance to win.
