WSJ Makes The Case For Romney To Choose Paul Ryan As Running Mate

WSJ Makes The Case For Romney To Choose Paul Ryan As Running Mate

An editorial in the Wall Street Journal makes the case for Mitt Romney to choose Paul Ryan as his running mate:

The case for Mr. Ryan is that he best exemplifies the nature and stakes of this election. More than any other politician, the House Budget Chairman has defined those stakes well as a generational choice about the role of government and whether America will once again become a growth economy or sink into interest-group dominated decline.

He ought to pick Ryan. Then he will have to answer for Ryans budget and Ryan wanting to kill Social Security. That is still the plan even though they removed it from the current budget version. Why did they remove it? Because it's an issue they don't want to talk about during the election.

I suspect that Mr. Ryan may be somewhat smarter at least to cognitive levels of Christie who has experienced career ending rejection.

I think we need a long, detailed national debate about the 'merits' of that program.
