LEGO Piece Found in Boy's Nose After Three Years

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- Doctor's treating a boy with severe sinus problems made a bizarre discovery.

2. My son stuck a Lego in his nose. It wasn't there very long, but it cost about 500$ to remove.

Doc said the first thing to try in this situation is to have the parent close the unblocked nostril and then gently blow into the child's mouth. The air pressure should push the foreign object out of the blocked nostril. It didn't work in our case, but given the frequency of this type of event, its a handy technique to know if you have little kids.

he showed her a pair of forceps. He told her "blow, or I use these" needless to say.....
