Pence lying in wait.. wants to make country 'more pleasing to his god'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6094873/Mike-Pence-patiently-waiting-Trump-impeached-new-book-reveals.html
Pence demanded custom clothes embroidered with his governor title, has a creepy habit of rubbing people's shoulders and is lying in wait to take Trump's place to make country 'more pleasing to his god' Bombshell new books reveals Vice President Mike Pence is waiting to see the hand of God at work in his elevation to the White House should Trump be impeached The Shadow President: The Truth About Mike Pence, tells how the VP even considered trying to replace Trump on the ballot after the 'p***y-gate' scandal After the tapes were released, Karen Pence viewed Trump as 'reprehensible — just totally vile' and the Pences reportedly refused to take his phone calls The book also reveals how Karen Pence underwent a fertility treatment called GIFT, not accepted by many Catholic authorities --- As President Trump faces increasingly intense scrutiny and calls for his impeachment, one man is patiently waiting in the wings to take over: Vice President Pence. The presidency is a dream Mike Pence has embraced since high school and he's been willing to wait and see the hand of God at work in his elevation to the White House should Trump be impeached. Pence came to believe that the way to his lifelong goal of the Oval Office was to tie his fate to Donald Trump even though he represented everything Christianity abhorred. During Pence's first year as vice president, he had one public assignment: admiring Donald Trump. ![]()

I don't think there is a chance he will be removed. Whether he can win the 2020 primary (assuming Trump is removed or is so lame ducked that his own VP will challenge him) or the general is still TBD? Under the right set of circumstances Trump's 30% very easily could transfer to him. He is a real threat.

a follower of the teachings of Jesus written about in the Gospels. If you want to see a well known public figure who truly tries to live that way, look to President Jimmy Carter. There's a bit in the Gospels where Jesus warns about false prophets and says we will know the real from the fake "by their fruits". Jimmy Carter is definitely a 'good apple' compared to Pense who's truly a 'rotten tomato'.

For instance, I would argue that Trump's judicial appointments will actually have a more long-standing harmful impact than anything else he has done. And what I fear with Pence is that he would not only continue to re-shape the judiciary in a far-RW way but also attempt to promote legislation that would be similarly deleterious to progressive values.

I remember Anwar Sadat's complaint when trying to negotiate territory with Menachim Begin at the 1979 Camp David peace talks. Laughable, preposterous, but believed! It's such an arrogant assumption.
Remember the old movie with Paul Newman. It's rather like the US founders' arrogant concept of "the 19th century, manifest destiny" - "a widely held belief in the United States that its settlers were destined to expand across North America." And take lands from the natives. It was born out of the arrogant "sense of mission to redeem the Old World by high example ... generated by the potentialities of a new earth for building a new heaven." the people i go to church with (in the past) are pretty liberal and just do an eyeroll on the abortion thing. The gop ruined religion after 911. imho. Pedophile priests and padres and proctors and deacons are everywhere, they just dont get investigated and are hidden in their own whack job dogma. That's my take. thanks for your opinion though. Either way, I'm not going to be lectured by a bunch of political "God fearing moralists" on any level anymore. i understand what youre saying. You want whack job alt right? **** All of that comment is directed to snake in the grass/slit eyed pence thinking he's going to resurrect and impute the church dogma in our political system. Its a control lever anymore, and THEY made it so obvious as to have 'wrecked' religion. the jesus I was brought up to emulate (and I try to) was a very humble kind and universally thoughtful man who (if he was really a person) is a far cry from the judgmental (First book of the bible style) god amongst us. |

I was raised to take most religious systems with large, critical grains of salt. However, it was the Baptists... worse yet, some extended family of the Westboro idiots, that made my latter teen years a living hell.
And it was catholic nuns, on a few occasions who later fed and clothed me when I was homeless youth, they did so without questions, without judgement. There were some catholic kids I grew up with who may disagree with us about that. Apparently the nuns got pretty screwy with "their own flock". |

40. I believe... Yass, brethren I truly believe... that if any religious edict should cost Pence
any significant dip in his lifestyle, the biblical bugaboo will fly straight out the window.
Religious hogwash maddens me unmercifully, in it's use to un-evenly divide the worlds shortening resources, in dividing families when one or another offspring doesn't live up to parental "standards", and most nauseatingly: such as "God told me to invade Iraq". There's no good way out of this debacle. I feel my basic rights as a gay person personally threatened under a Pence dictatorship. |

43. I still think there is the possibility of President Hatch or Pelosi.
Depends on when Trump goes.
I think they got the goods on Trump, Pence, Ryan and McConnell. And people wonder why she can’t say that impeachment is priority. That could sound a little self serving. She is playing it super smart as always. |

45. If Trump is illegitimate so is Pence!
Don't forget, if it is proven that Trump stole the election, Pence benefited from that theft as well. Pence would be no more entitled to his office, (vice president or president), than Trump is! BOTH need to go if Trump stole the presidency. We would need to find place holders for BOTH president and vice president until the next election in 2020.

And IF that should come to pass in november, the only way to begin to get Some Justice for this, is for the Blue Majority to elect Hillary Madame Speaker.
Then impeach the illigetimate Republican TICKET. |

Then Pence indeed has no claim to the presidency.
President Pelosi should then appoint Hillary Clinton as her vice president, then resign, making HILLARY PRESIDENT! Justice served. ![]() |

Spiro Agnew was indicted and resigned the Vice Presidency before Watergate took Nixon down...
We had Gerald Ford to pick up the mantle of leadership afterwards...I always said he was like "mayonnaise on white bread"..pretty harmless and did minimal damage to the country after Nixon's departure. Pence? Scares the bejeesus out of me! |

89. And the ironic thing...the Bible warns of this...
Luke 4
[5] And the devil took him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, [6] and said to him, "To you I will give all this authority and their glory; for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. [7] If you, then, will worship me, it shall all be yours." So in essence, if your that much of a zealot, Pence has to accept he is an agent of Satan. |
