These are words I thought I would never type, but Rinse the Prebus is just boring.
Michael Steele was never boring. Idiotic, temperamental and prone to gaffes every time he opened his mouth, sure, but never boring.

(27,985 posts)Luckily, with a few glaring exceptions, he's been pretty middle of the road, so while it saddens me and I don't think he'll help our state, I don't think we're going to be horribly fucked either. I would love if Jay Inslee actually won here, but I'm not seeing it and his competitor has a better machine and a calm, soothing voice...........................
Even Christine Gregoire knew she couldn't beat him so she declined to run this year.

(8,039 posts)with Steele as Lt. Gov. Worse 4 years in our state. Then Steele ran for Senator but knew the R brand was poisoned here after their term so tried avoid using the R word and trick people into thinking he was a Dem. He might be be entertaining but never trust what hidden behind his act. As long as he is a talking head on TV guess he can't do too much damage as long as people remember he is a repuke and has the same detrimental to the majority belief system as the rest of the Rs.

(27,985 posts)but what's his name is boring, too.
Michael Steele was hilarious. I actually enjoyed him. Didn't agree with his politics but he was a great comedian. Rinsed Penis, as someone else called what's his name, isn't funny at all, just so damn boring.

(23,664 posts)The guy is on MSNBC every time I turn it on. He doesn't add anything to the conversation and he's as much a kool aid drinker as ever but I actually don't mind watching him.

(27,985 posts)and since I'm so rarely on here these days, I don't hear the clips. Good to know funny guy is still around.

(2,940 posts)He has, like, anti-charisma. No personality whatsoever. He's not telegenic, he's not dynamic; I don't understand the reasoning for making someone like that the face of your party. He clearly should be a back-room kind of guy.
You're right about Steele - at least he was interesting. Also, in his current job at MSNBC, he has shown an ability to be critical of the Repubs, and to actually participate in a debate as opposed to just shouting down his opponents. I think he might not be a horrible person, and I tend to think of Republicans as horrible people until they have proven themselves otherwise.

(27,985 posts)I never felt like he fully drank the koolaid, most of it, but not all of it. And he was genuinely hilarious, whether he meant to be or not. Rinsed Penis just doesn't do anything for me.
