I laughed when the announcer said "distinctive seal team 6 crest and classified stealth helicopter".

But the entire casting just looks like an amorphous blob. Note how the faces aren't shown, etc. Its a waste of brass.

Not just the bin Laden coins, but there's one commemorating everything from 9/11 to Obama's nomination. What is it about "gold clad non-monetary" that Americans fail to understand? You can't even carry this in your pocket lest it wear off the plating and become a tin colored slug.

As for putting it away for future heirs to treasure, I think a pack of cigarettes will appreciate in value more.

Pathetic.

The thing people don't understand is that things that are made specifically to be collectible... will never accumulate value. Things that are well made and have a purpose appreciate over time... sometimes.

Who is anyone to argue the point? Gunning down an unarmed man and dumping his body at sea is the new standard for justice, and anyone who doesn't like it is some pony-lovin', President McCain-wantin', terrorist-sympathizin', anti-American, dirty fuckin' hippie who just needs to get over his fixation with the Constitution, get with the program, and trim his ideals to fit the fashion.

Kidnap him.
Put him in a glass box.
Give him a fair trial.
Follow it with a first class hanging.

Sorry, but when I see complaints about gunning down an unarmed Bin Laden, I just want to

Sure, that whole "due process" thing is highly overrated, so I'm told. And I know that we were promised a white paper by the Bush administration that would lay out the whole case against Osama bin Laden. Even though it never materialized. There were certainly enough Very Important People who pronounced him guilty of something that little folks like me shouldn't worry overmuch about it. I was told very authoritatively that bin Laden said he was behind the 9/11 attacks. Or at least that he approved of them. Maybe all he said was that the U.S. had that kind of attack coming to it? I don't know, as I don't speak Arabic, and am dependent on other folks to provide the translation. But he was very, very bad (everyone agreed), and because of that, he's forfeited all rights as a human being.

So yeah, it's my own personal preoccupation with evidence and stuff. Don't be sorry for what's been done in your name with your money even if it's totally against the Constitution. What's more important, anyway?
