Killer Q - How many tax returns did Ryan have to turn over to Romney to get the VP Slot?

"Mr. Ryan, how many tax returns did you have to release to the Romney Campaign when being vetted for the Vice President position?"

I think this one cuts right to the heart of the Romney problem. What he demands of everyone else is entirely different from what he is willing to do himself. He is above such, but can be a hard taskmaster when it comes to those who must labor under his rule.

There is a landmine in whatever Ryan answers to this question.

IF Ryan says he turned over only the same number of years that Romney says he is turning over now, then you hit him with this: "But didn't Romney turn over 23 yrs of tax returns to the McCain Campaign when he was being vetted for the 2008 VP slot? Why shouldn't that be the standard for you to meet?"

IF Ryan says he VOLUNTARILY turned over more years of tax turns than Romney is turning over, then you hit him with this: "So you believe it is important for the Romney Campaign to have x years of tax returns to make an informed decision as to your qualification to be the VP candidate on the ticket? Shouldn't that same standard apply to Romney so that the public can make an informed decision as to the next President?"

I tell you there is CAMPAIGN GOLD in this very simple line of questioning.
