If the GOPT want to cut Social Security

why not cut it for the millionaires and billionaires first?

They don't need it - for them it is just pocket change.

While we are at it we should raise the social security tax rate.

And cut military spending - even halved we would have trillions for the MIC to play with and the amount saved could make a real difference to this country.

while watching the Sunday Talking Head Shows this morning. The only cuts on the table are to Social Security and Medicare. Why don't we cut Military Entitlements? Why don't we eliminate tax shelters for Rich billionaires like Rmoney? Why can't we raise taxes on the 1%? Why can't we cut Corporate Welfare?

I realize we still have personnel/equipment over there, but you'd think some of that money spent each month would finally be used at home. Am I being naive?

...there are no savings. Just borrowed money that doesn't have to borrowed for that.

Every previous president has raised taxes to pay for wars. Not MBA genius CEO president GWB! No sirree!
