http://www.jsonline.com/newswatch/136596978.html..snip..
Madison - A committee of Republicans and Democrats voted unanimously Tuesday to pick the candidates for the ballot in the April presidential primary in Wisconsin.
President Barack Obama will be the only Democratic candidate on the ballot. The list of Republicans will be: U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum.
The committee has the sole power to select which candidates for each party will be on the April 3 ballot. It included representatives from each political party whose candidates for governor in 2010 received at least 10% of the votes cast - that was the Republican and Democratic parties.
The committee included state Republican Party chairman Brad Courtney; state Democratic Party chairman Mike Tate; two national committee persons from each party; Sen. Rob Cowles (R-Green Bay); Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller (D-Monona); Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald (R-Horicon); Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca (D-Kenosha); and as chairperson former state auditor Janice Mueller. The committee is charged by state law to include on the ballot all the candidates who are recognized in the national news media.
..end..
The national news media, huh?

(27,985 posts)1. I'm going to vote Perry.
In 2010 primary, I voted (R) for the first time in my life. It was gross, but I will vote against Walker any and every chance I get. Most of us with brains (especially anyone near Milwaukee) knew then that he is a bad bad man.
Oh, on edit, I will have to see what other races are in that primary. If we have Dem primaries for other races, I will vote (D).
POTUS will probably be wrapped up by then.
