Nugent on Ryan: Awash In The Blood Of Bambi, You Become A Man

Guitar-strumming mental health outpatient Ted Nugent is all “Hello South Bloomington Swap Meet & Craft Festival Sunday shoppers! Are you ready to rock? Aaaa-oo! Aaaa-ooo! Wang dang sweet poontang!” because Mitt Romney selected Paul Ryan to be his second as part of his Morning In America v2.0 duel against the olds, poors, coloreds, gays, messicans, workers, wimmins, youngs, science, and The Enlightenment.
...
Conservative rocker Ted Nugent says in an exclusive interview with Newsmax that you can tell a lot about the kind of vice president Paul Ryan would make by the fact that he lists bowhunting as one of life’s great passions.

“He’s an addicted bowhunter. He loves the mystical flight of the arrow,” explained Nugent, who was taking a break from his concert tour on Saturday at a lakeside log cabin in Michigan. “I defy you to come up with a person that has a more spiritual relationship with the pulse that drives Paul Ryan’s life than me.”

Unlike other forms of hunting, Nugent, a fellow bowhunter, said the sport imposes the “ultimate challenge and discipline” on hunters if they want to be successful.
...
“This kind of discipline is just what America needs in leadership and I know it appears to be a huge leap from what some consider recreational activities,” he said. “Paul and I could go to the grocery store if we wanted to, but we have chosen this original primal pursuit of game with a self-limiting weapon. And that says volumes for what drives this man to do the right thing in spite of political correctness.”

...
Cry Matlock! and let loose the arrows of austerity!

1. Hunting for food sustenance is one thing...Glorifying the grissly deaths of animals & devaluing life

of animals is SICK. I find posing with the bloody bodies of one's kill even more disgusting. Of course this comes from one who proudly boasts of going weeks with feces in his britches to avoid the draft.

3. I don't mind the posing too much as long as the meat is used.

They are so proud of their kill. I just want them to admit that waiting by a feed station or salt lick is killing, not hunting. Hunting is a sport. Killing is just killing. Fish in a barrel, kind of thing. I think that is ok if thats what you want to do, as long as the meat is used. But I can't see bragging about that kind of kill. Of course you got the one with the biggest horns when you do it that way.

I picked the biggest tomato out of my garden too. Pulled it up by the vine, held it under my chin and took my proud picture. Not really, but kind of the same as fenced hunting or feed station hunting. You just pick the best one. But nothing to be proud of.

his wimpy 45 lb compound, no wonder he wounds some many animals. His hero, Fred Bear drew back an 85 lb recurve at Ted's age.

10. There's a lot bad about Ryan - hunting isn't one of them....

I have no problem with hunting for food and even posing with the animal.

I'm sure you'd find that a very large population of Democrats hunt.

Focus on his economic policies and leave the "bambi blood" bullshit out of it.

and his claim that hunting with a bow makes Ryan uniquely qualified for VP - or that Ryan is some kind of soulmate for Nugent.

Hunting defenseless animals? Nah. The only true test of a good hunter would be to hunt something that could hunt him back - which neither Nugent nor Ryan have experienced yet.
