It was delicious that moment of malicious candor that came courtesy of Campbell Brown (playing shocked and awed- or at least stunned) and Newt (The Furious) spitting stored up venom at Mitt Romney (who is clearly tickled pink at how badly Newt blew it).
I'd been waiting for Newt to lose it. You could tell his rising above it all tactic couldn't be sustained by a man of Newtie's temperament
And Santorum calling Ron Paul disgusting seemed in character. And Ron the Rodent running scads of ads proclaiming every other candidate is really a moderate or liberal. Oh, and Bachman's ad where she invokes (both verbally and pictorially) Margaret Thatcher, stating boldly that she is America's Iron Lady" The producers of the new film about Thatcher with Meryl Streep must be thrilled by the ad.
Not to mention anything that Rick Perry does or says.
It's a real freak show. A multi-lane crash.
I can't take my eyes off it.
