while I'm not too excited about her it's about time they included women moderators again. A much better selection would have been Solodad O'Brien.

but interesting that Raddatz, a foreign affairs correspondent, will moderate the VP debate. Considering the strength of Biden on foreign policy and Ryan's total lack of experience, she could be an interesting choice.

I suppose it's because I 'want' to like her. There is something appealing about her to me - I know, sounds crazy, and stupid.

But if she used her powers for good instead of evil, I think she'd do quite well at it.

Carol Simpson and Baba Wawa have done it before (with Gwen Ifill doing a VP debate).

Seems this deicision was partly the result of a Change.org petition and major push (and ironically, the site doesn't even mention Creepy Crawly but highlights a number of other good ones... )

http://www.change.org/petitions/it-s-time-for-a-woman-moderator-equality-in-the-2012-presidential-debates

They should have let Leslie Stahl do it. Hell, that woman has reported from so many conventions over the years that it's not funny.

The third debate overall if you include the VP debate. Being the first woman does not make it the first debate.

She lost track of the sequence and rules and was a complete basket case.

If you don't believe me, look in the video section at:

www.alleghenymountainradio.org, where they have the entire debate posted.

The candidates themselves had to straighten her out a couple times on the sequence.

She was utterly unprepared and unprofessional.

Naturally, that's what CNN rewards.
