WTF is Obama doing praising Paul Ryan?

Did you hear Obama "welcome him to the race"?

Message to Obama: You better eat this guy's lunch. He wants to destroy the social safety net.

Why aren't you attacking him for the radical regressive that he is?

whether the Democratic Party is The Party That Fights For the Social Safety Net, or has evolved into The Party That Promises To Destroy it Slower Than the GOP.

You'll notice that this great debate only features two competing ideas: the "drastic cuts in exchange for some small tax hikes for millionaires" and "drastic cuts." (I guess the perfect compromise would be "even smaller tax hikes for the millionaires and drastic cuts.&quot But no matter what, the one thing we can all agree on is that whatever ails our economy is nothing that firing a few more government workers can't cure.

2. You don't hear him saying that about Palin, or Romney - do you?

And MOST important:

3. He is giving credibility to Ryan as the mastermind behind the GOP budget - which is diametrically opposed to the Dem vision of how to prime the pump for the economy. He NEEDS for people to take Ryan seriously - so that we can have the debate and people once and for all *GET* the whole "tax breaks for the rich, trickle down" Does. Not. Work.

If lowering taxes on the rich crested jobs - then where are the jobs? Gekko/Galt want to double down and lower them even further, and on the backs of the poor and middle class.

Worse mistake would be to gloss that over. It needs to be the centerpiece - so that it is treated as the odious plan that it is.

This is what you are worried about because Obama "welcome him to the race"?

Obama is already attacking Ryan, and I suspect that Ryan will regret he ever accepted Romney invitation.

number of 0s on their bank and brokerage statements).

'Class' (and Obama's constant manifestation thereof) is one reason i said early on (before Bain-gate, Taxes and Ryan-gate) that Obama would wipe the floor with Romney. All but the most avowed racists cannot fail to be moved by the manifestation of 'class.'

Contrast Obama's class with what Romney does constantly to those with less power and influence than he possesses (Seamus, John Lauber, laid-off employees, and so on).
