Stopping Cantor and Ryan

Dear Friend,

This weekend in Norfolk, Virginia, Mitt Romney announced his Vice Presidential running mate: Tea-Party darling and Medicare wrecking ball, Paul Ryan.

We don't need to remind you who Paul Ryan is. He's the architect of the Ryan Budget, an irresponsible bill that demonizes the poor while systematically demolishing and dismantling Medicare.

In short, Ryan's plan would leave the social safety net in tatters. And Eric Cantor couldn't be a bigger fan.

Here's an excerpt of what Eric Cantor had to say about Paul Ryan on Saturday on national television: "No one knows the budget better than Paul," Cantor told CNN. He went on to call Ryan a "leader for the future."

Their relationship isn't anything new. In 2010, Ryan and Cantor wrote a book with another Congressman entitled Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders.

We're judged by the company we keep, and Eric Cantor continues to associate himself with extreme members of his party.

We have a candidate in Wayne Powell that will not support these extremists ideas, he'll always do what is right for the country and for the people of the 7th District.

Donate now to stop Cantor, Ryan, and their disastrous agenda.

Regards,

Christian Rickers
