I wonder what RBG is thinking these days.
Imagine being 85 and feeling that you can't retire. In my mind, no matter how much you love your work, it would be horrible.

1. She doesn't want to retire
Wants to stay until she’s 90. That takes us to 2023. If we have a D in the WH and control of the Senate before then she needs to have a rethink.

2. "where's my bodyguard?"
Remember who we're dealing with -- Gangsters Of Putin.
Does the U.S. Marshal provide protection for the Supreme Court Justices? |

3. She's thinking...
I hope by 2020 I'm up to 100 chin ups per day instead of merely 98.

5. Also, she's probably thinking, how far away can I sit from the two predators?

6. She once said "all I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks"
I imagine she feels even more strongly now!

7. I suspect she's probably very aware of her position
as a patriot, judicial intellect, trail-blazer for women and the voice and upholder of the Constitution on the Court. I hope she continues to have good health. We really need her now, more than ever.

8. i wish she'd retired in 2009
i hope, going forward, any session where Democrats control presidency and senate, all liberal SCOTUS justices take a complete inventory of their health and opt for retirement if there's any concern whatsoever. suffering is not enough. we need to learn from these situations.

10. She should of retired during the Obama presidency
I do not think she will make it through the Trump presidency. Had she retired while Obama was president, she would of been replaced without any resistance from Republicans (just replacing the most liberal on the court with another). This will come back to bite us in the ass. If you are worried about Roe V. Wade now, just wait until she gets replaced with a conservative. This a was bit a of selfish move on her part if you ask me.
