bat-shittery: the typical behavior of republican extremists. Accepted as normal by 21 century right-wingers. Ridiculed by everyone else.

early numbers indicate, that if you take out the new voters Uncle Ronnie Paul brought into the Republican caucus, turnout is actually lower for the Repugs this time than 2008. The only enthusiasm that's happening is from the Ron Paul Revolution...and they'll be nowhere to be found once the election rolls around.

a positive report from the ground, IG!

I'm an ex-Nebraskan, born and bred, and have always envied the more liberal streak of the electorate east of the Missouri.

Can you imagine Nebraska legalizing same-sex marriage, for example? Not in my lifetime! SG

Those are all qualities they lost a long time ago.

They need to take the remedial version of that program!

I've been watching the MSNBC round table and they were basically saying that the enthusiasm is still very much alive and well for Obama in Iowa. That his team is very well organized on the ground and Iowa has a very high chance of going for Obama again. The MSM was so sure that no one would show up and that all the enthusiasm was gone, what a crock of shit. All together 25,000 I believe came out to support the President. One of the guest on the show pointed out, that's a lot of folks showing support for Obama who doesn't have an opponent. Its freezing cold in Iowa, they could've stayed home but chose to support the president, that's awesome!! Uncommitted my ass!!
