We have had a horrible representative since the other horrible, but not AS horrible, Robert Hurt did not seek reelection. Our current congressman is an admitted alcoholic who may have abused his office by having staffers do things they should not do - such as walk his dogs - on the government's dime. He made a big stink to always tell us, "I only represent the people who voted for me" and had one town hall - that you had to get a ticket for - and then had "telephone town halls."

Anyway, I will be ecstatic if Leslie Cockburn (pronounced Coburn) wins. She won't win my red area, but the congressional district is immense and sprawling.
