If you googled “Carolyne Cass fashion designer” you get picture of a woman who looks exactly like this. I have no doubt it’s a friend or girlfriend of his but she does exist... which makes it all the more sad. Why I’m the world would she want them using her name for this charade?!

Surely, you cannot just make serious accusations like that. Holding press conferences, pretend to bring forward an accuser and show an image of a friend as the mystery accuser as "proof". There have to be/should be laws against making false accusations like that for the sole purpose of trying to discredit someone's reputation. Even if no police report was filed or any attempt to file charges, this kind of criminal energy and bad intent cannot go unpunished.

As for his fake company, aren't there legal requirements as well? How about taxes and wage records for his "employees" around the world? I have to assume you cannot just make up a company and pretend this company made investigations.

With the Muller case, it may be a different issue because, and I am just assuming, there should be a charge of "Attempt to obstruct justice" because this is what these people are trying to do.

A real lawyer's take on this would be great.

that identifies Carolyne Cass (the woman in the pic) as Wohl's girlfriend.

All I'm finding so far is Beaumont's tweet and others repeating it as fact, and links back to this very OP as proof. Some of the MAGA crowd are all, "OMG, Mueller molested Wohl's GIRLFRIEND??!? No wonder he's pissed!!!!!"

Please share the evidence if you have it. I'm entirely open to believing Wohl shared information (and the pic) without the woman's consent, but since she seems to have made herself unavailable, nobody's been able to check with her yet. There's at least one other woman of Wohl's acquaintance that he's claimed as his girlfriend out there (unrelated to this debacle), and she's extremely vocally unhappy at the suggestion, so it would be no surprise.

To be clear to anyone who reads this (and because I'll be away from DU for a few hours shortly), the woman in the pic is Carolyne Cass. Her background generally matches Wohl's claims - from a rich family (daddy's an oilman), works in fashion etc. So the pic and those details tie up.
