The death of personal responsibility

In addition to destroying norms and civil discourse (what little was left), 45 is killing off "the buck stops here."
I've never known of someone quicker to blame another, at least not an adult.

What is one of the first things that most people -- especially conservatives -- want their children to absorb, practice and preach? Personal responsibility!

I don't get very much about how they can support that ignoramus in the White House, but I REALLY don't get how they accept his constant blaming. I think it needs to be pointed out that he takes no personal responsibility for ANYTHING.

I'd love to see news media add this idea to every report they do about his activities and attitudes.

1. the republican crap about "personal responsibility" was *always* about other people, not them.

it was just b.s. to justify kicking starving people off government assistance and such.

these same people then took the savings and gave tax breaks to businesses nominally to give them an incentive to do something worthwhile, but in practice to pay them for doing something they were already doing anyway, or just to give money to rich people for being rich, or to businesses "because they provide jobs" even when they are cutting jobs.

The folks that work a couple of jobs to make ends meet and still support him.
I think they're all about taking responsibility, when it comes to their kids and blasting those receiving assistance.

I know a lot of people who love him and they are the first to criticize the “takers.” He and his family are the biggest takers of all. It’s a wonder he can walk because he’s stuffing his pockets 24/7.

...it's always a lapse, if that, from people who are considered by default to be "responsible people" right off the bat.

It's other people who need to have "personal responsibility" forced upon them. Usually those people (wink wink), who they already look down on.

"We won the 'game'" (It's not a game,) and "Do as I say, not as I do." (especially regards religious norms). IMHO.
