I know its been said before - seeing Republican ads on DU sucks

There is that brief moment before signing in.

Can't Google get us something else? Omaha Steaks? Eric Estrada selling land in Arkansas? Adam & Eve?

So my PSA - become a star member and stop seeing ads for MAGA hats on DU!

(counter argument - don't they get charged every time we click on those ads?)

Just think that DU is taking their money and it’s not doing them any good. The ads could be airing someplace where they might be effective!

pay DU not to see those ads. DU is that much stronger because of this.

I believe our cell phones track us more than we realize. I see a lot of republican ads on DU and other websites on my cell phone. I think that is mainly because I attend a church a lot of republicans attend. Whereas my laptop at home, I only see ads for democrats (which my computer never leaves home) and i do not live near a church. Your location determines a lot on the content you see rather than just the content you search and voluntarily view.

I agree with the other poster about clicking on republican ads because it costs them money, I do it all the time.
