MIDDLETON, Idaho -- Idaho school district officials are apologizing after several teachers and staffers at an elementary school donned offensive Halloween costumes, one group in caricatured outfits depicting Mexican people and another group dressed as a border wall emblazoned with "Make America Great Again."

The Middleton School District Administration is investigating after learning of the costumes, which were worn during class. Photos were posted to the district's Facebook page Thursday night, though they were later removed.

Superintendent Josh Middleton said in a statement Friday morning that a parent alerted him to the issue. He apologized on behalf of the district.

1. Had to look them up and they are a little town of about 6000 or so

just outside of Boise... Almost as far away from the southern border as one could be.

I expect there were probably a lot of "border wall" costumes roaming the streets of American on Halloween.

The disconnect here being that even if done to "mock" (although am not sure of that were their intent), the immigration issue itself is in crises.

Any not-white kid knows now, without question that their teachers hate them.

I would say the "teachers" should all lose their jobs, however, it appears that would be the entire school. There are 13 "people" in the pics.
